Givenchy
Givenchy AW26, presented in Paris under Sarah Burton, developed a darker and more character-driven idea of femininity through sharp tailoring, slip dresses, leopard prints, sculptural capes, lace, heavy satin, oversized jewelry, and Stephen Jones headwraps made from twisted T-shirts. The show mixed aristocratic severity with personal eccentricity: suits and pinstripes gave structure, while shredded florals, cobalt leather, evening drapes, and painterly references to Northern European old masters softened the collection into something more emotional and theatrical.
